PM's waiting in Outbox

Postby Omer on Fri Jul 24, 2009 7:19 am

The two of the PM's that I have sent to 2 different people (one on July 12, one on today) seem to be sitting in Outbox. Another 2 messages that I have sent a while ago do show in Sent Items. Is there something that I sould be doing for the two messages to be sent to the recepeints?

Hi!
Messages in your outbox will dissappear as sooon as the receiver has read them. Happened to me too! So nothing serious to worry about.
By the way, what side of the Bosphorus do you live? I was in Turkey for business a couple of weeks ago (Maslak district).
Cheers,

Thanks for the input. It is actually good to know that the receiver has not read the PM and it sits in my outbox.

I lived on the European side all my life up untill January 2009. I now live on the Asian side. My work is on the other side and I have drive 60km every day and same on the return, sucks!!! Maslak disctrict is the worst when it comes to traffic, how did you like it? During summer time the traffic is the least, the worst time is the first day when the schools open.

What kind of work do you do? Your profile shows you are interested in photography, check out http://www.mehmetyalhi.com my older brother's site. He likes to talk about photography all day long :). Rides a R1200GS Adv though :(

Traffic was ok and it usually is as you indicate during summer in Istanbul.
But wow a 60 km commute in Istanbul including having to cross the Bosphorus is a tough nut to crack.
Maslak is....well....Maslak. Good for a business district but far from being the real Istanbul. I am in Istanbul a couple of times per year and have seen it from several angles but it's one of those cities that keeps me intriguing.
I also saw the R1200GS the police has. Good taste but probably not that nimble in heavy traffic.

Last but not least, I went to take a look at your brother's website and I am impressed. Wonderful pictures and as I can see a Nikon man! Photography is more a hobby for me but if I have the time, the bike comes first

I just lent him my bike this weekend, he loves it of course :). R1200GS is a good bike as well; however, I do not like that it has no power also I don't like it that the handebars vibrate so much. My girlfriend likes it because it is more comfortable to ride in the back than K1200S. If I were buying a bike now I would still get the K1200S though, because I like it :) :) :)
