I wish there was an outfit that offered the protection of my A'stars one-piece and the versatility of my 'Stitch.

I wear Tourmaster Cortech perforated leather:
Apex Air Pants and Impulse Jacket

Works great. Zips together almost 360 degrees.
In hot weather I wear one of those vests that you soak in water. Summer of '05 I wore this outfit in 100+ degree weather for a 10 day trip. As long as I was moving I was cool enough (also wore a Camelbak to stay hydrated).

I'm through two riding seasons with this gear and very happy.

A ride's a ride. I wear a Vanson leather jacket, or a Vanson armored mesh jacket, depending on weather. I wear kevlar reinforced jeans at the least, but may wear Vanson armored textile pants if the ride is the purpose for the ride. I wear Sidi Vertigo Corsa Airs or Sidi Vertigo Megas regardless of the purpose for the ride. Alpine Star GP-X or longer gauntlet amored gloves. Snell approved Helmet (rules out movable chin bar) if the ride's the purpose of the ride.

Most of my serious rides, now i get in track about once and a half times a month, are long distance trips which implies about 5-6 hours in the bike, hence, with the risk of getting some rain in the way, i use textile (Goretex and cordura) jacket and pants.

Once i get 3 hours rain in the two piece leather and when it get dry i can hardly move.

Ditto Casual Ride...

ATGATT!! thank you very much. AirFlow when it's cooking, Rallye 2 when out GS'sing inna dirt and on off-road tour, Comfort Shell on longer rides/touring on road, when rain immenent (reverse murphy applies...), and combo's of Boulder/Street Pants whatever... I'm comfortable whichever ATGATT, so why compromise my safety?

Mind you, I sould get leathers for on the track...

Well, I just started riding again after 10 years so bought all new kit. Only about 500 miles on them so far because we're having a late spring here in Toronto. :(

Shoei X-11 helmet solid black
BMW Streetguard 3 suit (just picked it up today. wanted the comfort shell based on reviews on this site but it doesn't come in my size. Streetguard 3 is ungodly expensive but so far it seems like a great suit).
BMW Allround gloves, BMW ProSummer gloves
Alpinestars Ridge boots

Textile jacket, leather pants aka the option that isn't there. :)

Plus of course helmet, gloves and boots.

Never wear anything but all the proper gear, no matter what ride or how short.

I too am weather dependent therefore have both Aerostitch suit and Joe Rocket leather jacket and pants, but I voted for the textile suit

Summer - leather trous and jacket

Winter or probable wet conditions - Rukka two pieve textile suit, linings optional

Arai RX 7 corsair all year round

would like new two piece leathers this year but may have to have made to measure due to pie affinity !!
Hoping the weather stays like this

It took me over thirty years of riding to get to this point; but I recently finished off a matching "Uniform". 8)

Shark Evoline helmet with Absolute graphics

Dainese Delmar leather jacket.

Dainese Firefly leather pants.

Dainese Torque Out "air" boots.

Dainese Full Metal gloves.

Personally I consider any venture into So California traffic a "serious ride".

The choices don't quite cover what I ride in. My jeans are actually BMW airflow pants with knee and hip armor. So I guess my real answer is leather jacket and textile pants. I also use a full-face shield helmet, alpinestars gloves and tourmaster boots. In summer about 75F, I'll wear a textile mesh jacket.
